Privacy
Moment Mori is an independently operated community-discovery project. It is not a government agency, a service provider, or a registered charity.
What we keep
You can browse public information without an account. If you sign in, we store your account email, chosen profile details, Following, Bookmarks, Action List and recorded activity to provide your account features. Your private account state is not part of the public catalog. A badge becomes public only when you choose to create a share link; you can disable it later.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website and handles network requests. Supabase provides authentication and account storage. Mapbox receives requests when maps load, including the requested map area and ordinary connection information. Sentry receives filtered technical error reports; we remove error messages, account details and request contents from those reports.
Your analytics choices
On the public website, optional PostHog product analytics and masked session replay start off. You can enable them separately in “Analytics & privacy” below. Replay also requires analytics to be enabled. Analytics can include page visits, searches and interactions; avoid entering sensitive personal information into catalog searches. Browser Global Privacy Control disables these optional features. Authentication and preference storage are needed to keep your session and choices.
Control your information
Profile settings let you edit information, export your account and disable badge links. Contact us for account deletion or other privacy requests. Information is kept while needed to provide the account, resolve operational issues or meet applicable obligations. Encrypted recovery backups can retain earlier copies; contact us to discuss deletion from backups as well as the active account. We do not sell account information or use it for advertising targeting.
